All day: CODY'S CHALLENGEAll day: CODY'S CHALLENGE All day 16th Annual Cody’s Challenge Cody’s Challenge is a randonee race up and down the slopes of the Steamboat Ski Resort. From the professional racer to the first timer, with two different course lengths, Cody’s Challenge is for everyone. The race proceeds go to The Cody St. John Foundation, which awards scholarships to Professional Ski Patrollers for continuing medical education. Join us this year for a great day of fun and help us continue to support our ski patrollers. There are 2 course lengths, long and short, if you’re a seasoned racer or are ready to up your ski mountaineering game the long course is the way to go! If this is your first SkiMo race or you’ve only got a few races under your belt go for the short course. The registration fee includes partner swag bag and post-race party with lunch and a beverage. There will be Men’s and Women’s divisions in the long and short course as well as a junior division on the short course. IMPORTANT Racers must check in to pick up their bib on the evening of Friday April 5 from 5:30-7:00pm at the Steamboat tent in Steamboat Square. If you need to make special arrangements for an early bib pick up Saturday morning, please email Heidi Barbee at hbarbee@steamboat.comfor instructions. Liability release is required. Please sign your waiver at http://www.ezwaiver.com/sbrace. Racers must complete a waiver before picking up bib. Helmets are required! 3:30 pm: BUD LIGHT ROCKS THE BOAT FREE CONCERT3:30 pm: BUD LIGHT ROCKS THE BOAT FREE CONCERT – The Bud Light Rocks the Boat Free series is the perfect way to get your concert fix in this spring. The Cardboard Classic, Steamboat's traditional rite of spring returns to the Steamboat Ski Area for the 42nd year. This wild and hilarious race features homemade cardboard crafts, constructed only from cardboard, glue, string, water based paint, duct tape, masking tape, balloons and other decorations, racing down Stampede to a hysterical finish.
